Evaluation of Pseudorandom Sampling Processes
نویسنده
چکیده
Experimental evaluation of sampling processes is essential when the bandwidth of a DSP system is in the GHz frequency range. The suggested method for evaluation of the pseudorandomized sampling processes allows to establish the location of sampling instants during the digitization process with picosecond resolution. The method is implemented in the DASP-Lab System as its integral part. Some examples of such evaluation and characterization of a specific high-rate pseudorandom sampling process are discussed.

Chaotic Pseudo Random Number Generators via Ultra Weak Coupling of Chaotic Maps and Double Threshold Sampling Sequences
—Generation of random or pseudorandom numbers, nowadays, is a key feature of industrial mathematics. Pseudorandom or chaotic numbers are used in many areas of contemporary technology such as modern communication systems and engineering applications. More and more European or US patents using discrete mappings for this purpose are obtained by researchers of discrete dynamical systems [1], [2]. E...
متن کاملInformation geometry for testing pseudorandom number generators
The information geometry of the 2-manifold of gamma probability density functions provides a framework in which pseudorandom number generators may be evaluated using a neighbourhood of the curve of exponential density functions. The process is illustrated using the pseudorandom number generator in Mathematica. This methodology may be useful to add to the current family of test procedures in rea...
متن کاملPseudorandom Direct Sampler for Non-Uniform Sub-sampling Architecture in a Multistandard Receiver
In this paper, a Non-Uniform Sampling (NUS) technique for down-conversion stage in a multistandard radio receiver is proposed. For both narrowband and wideband standard processing, NUS promises relaxing system design constraints, decreasing the sampling frequency as well as reducing power consumption. A non-uniform clock generator, called Pseudorandom Direct Sampler (PDS), is described. PDS is ...
متن کاملExploring pseudo- and chaotic random Monte Carlo simulations
Computer simulations are an increasingly important area of geoscience research and development. At the core of stochastic or Monte Carlo simulations are the random number sequences that are assumed to be distributed with specific characteristics. Computer-generated random numbers, uniformly distributed on (0, 1), can be very different depending on the selection of pseudo-random number (PRN) or ...
متن کاملReceiving Pseudorandom PSK
Pseudorandom PSK [1] enables parallel communication on the same carrier frequency and at the same time. We propose different signal processing methods to receive data modulated with pseudorandom PSK. This includes correlation with the carrier frequency which can be applied to signals in the kHz to MHz range and signal processing in the intermediate frequency where the correlation with the carri...
